If you were a soldier, who should have civilian command over the army?

The president has supreme command over the armed forces. He can deploy troops, direct military strategy and respond to national security threats like military aggression, terrorism, pandemics or internal instability of the state. Command over the army is one of the most important prerogatives of the President of Poland and presidents of other countries.

The interviewers asked about a hypothetical situation in which the respondent is subject to military duty in Poland and military mobilization began in Poland.
